We are holding its first annual Market Poster Contest, open to all current OFMA members. Eligible 2010 entries are posters from any past market season, only one per market.  The winning farmers’ market will receive a cash prize of $100!

OFMA members may bring their market posters to the OFMA annual meeting on Friday, February 26 at the Corvallis Library. Submitted posters will be hung in the LaSells Stewart Center for community viewing and voting during the Small Farms Conference on Saturday, February 27, 2010.  The winner will be announced at the end of the conference (5pm). Deadline:  Friday, February 26, 2010 at the OFMA Annual Meeting by 12 noon.  Submit poster entry to registration table attendee with current contact information.  

The annual meeting and forum will be held at the Corvallis Public Library at 645 NW Monroe Ave. from 9am-4pm. This year’s agenda is packed with pertinent information and discussion regarding Food Safety, SNAP, WIC and other ways to efficiently manage your market.  A delicious lunch will be served at a discounted rate of $5.00 per person.  Please email info@rvgrowersmarket.com to RSVP by Feb. 12th.
