Portland Farmers Market, in collaboration with Oregon Farmers Markets Association, is hosting this third online workshop in a series designed for farmers market vendors. These workshops focus on customer service in diverse marketplaces, sharing insights and tools to enhance vendor success by creating welcoming, accessible market booths and positive shopper experiences.
Presented by Sagdrina Brown Jalal, this workshop centers vendors as culture carriers, storytellers, and relationship-builders at farmers markets. Participants will explore how sharing food traditions with care, avoiding cultural appropriation, and creating welcoming booth environments can deepen customer trust, strengthen community connections, and support long-term sales.
Gain practical tools you and your booth staff can immediately use to support inclusive customer service at your market stall.
All farmers market vendors who attend the workshop live are eligible to be entered into a random drawing to win a $40 visa gift card!
