Membership Requirements

To be a member market of Oregon Farmers Markets Association, your market organization must comply with the following:

  1. The market meets on a regular, recurring basis in a public location.

  2. Market vendors engage in direct sales to consumers of agricultural products they grow, raise or produce themselves.

  3. Other product categories may be permitted to fit the market community’s needs if they support rather than impair the market’s primary function of facilitating farm-direct sales.

  4. The market must either be currently operational or have concrete plans to be operational in the upcoming market season.

Membership Levels

Market associations, individual markets, vendors, individuals and other organizations can all become OFMA members.
Vendor number ranges represent peak season numbers.

  • Association: $360, Organization operating markets at multiple locations* (voting)

  • Large Market: $240, 50+ vendors, operating at a single location (voting)

  • Medium Market: $155, 25-49 vendors, operating at a single location (voting)

  • Small Market: $60, 10-24 vendors, operating at a single location (voting)

  • Micro Market: $35, 5-9 vendors, operating at a single location (voting)

  • New Market: $25, New members—first year only, operating at a single location (voting)

  • Vendor: $25, Individual vendors who sell at an Oregon farmers market (voting)

  • Supporter: $25, Individuals or non-market organizations who want to support Oregon’s farmers markets (non-voting)

*If you are a market association but the rates applicable to your markets would add up to less than the association rate, please contact us and we’ll make sure you’re charged a fair amount.
