Working with State Partners from Idaho, Oregon, Ohio, Utah, and Washington, the 2026 Farmers Market Boot Camp is a learning space where market and food systems leaders share essential information, resources, and community connections with new (and returning!) market managers, staff, and volunteers so that you can confidently open your farmers market and have a successful season.
Boot Camp’s two General Sessions cover the essential tools and resources on farmers market operations and organizations, specifically on managing Vendors, the Market Site, Shoppers, and your market Community. Each session is designed to foster connections, discuss the whys and hows of market management, and create opportunities for us to share our favorite intel on preparing for your market role.
In addition to the General Sessions, the WSFMA and each of our State Partners host a “State Day.” This session covers the specific partners, programs, and resources for farmers markets in each state. OFMA’s State Day will be our Annual Meeting and takes place Thursday, March 26 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Pacific Time).
Thanks to a grant from USDA, registration for farmers markets affiliated with WSFMA’s State Partners is only $25.00. Registering for Boot Camp will also automatically register you for OFMA’s 2026 Annual Meeting.
